Over the years we have provided sound systems, audio and lighting equipment for prestigious concerts indoor / outdoor events, corporate trade shows and extravagant wedding parties the success of which have gained us credit amongst our clients and praise from within the industry.

We are also dealers in a wide range of professional audio lighting equipment as well as a variety of musical instruments. Sonia Electronics is one of the few companies in Dubai able to provide the highest quality of sound reinforcement and lighting equipment and the expertise to meet any kind of demand and fulfill them to international standards.

From the outset, our design and engineering team set out to create new solutions to meet the demands and tackle the challenges posed by the increasing number of indoor and outdoor venues and wide variety of applications ranging from special events, sports coverage, theatrical events and raves to weddings, conferences and live gigs with a seating capacity from a 100 to 25,000 Speaker systems, which were introduced in 2002, from MEYER Sound, are the key components in our specially designed system which can live up to such a wide variety of demands. These are self powered flown systems MSL – 4, DS – 4P, Bass 650 P, UPJ – 1P.

Being a privately owned and fully independent, Sonia Electronics has always been uniquely positioned to respond quickly and creatively to the fast changing needs of customers in the face of stiff competition. In order to do so, after 1995, we added loudspeaker systems like Court Black Box, JBL Loaded Concert MCW Viking Audio series and SR XF JBL to our main PA list along with lighting rigs which include Clay Paky moving-heads, Futurelight Scanners, City Color wash, Follow Spots, Kvant lasers, projectors and a wide range of conventional Par cans all programmed and mixed on Avolite, Q –Commander and Pulsar Lighting desks. All of which means that we are able to handle a number of shows simultaneously.

Sonia Electronics was started in 1982 in Abu Dhabi by Mr. Stanley an Electronics Engineer, who was one of the first to start a service center for audio visual equipment there, soon after with the acquisition of Montarbo, Bose and EV MT4 speaker systems we entered the field of sound reinforcement field for the first time.

In 1995 we shifted to much more spacious and centrally located premises in Dubai as SONIA ELECTRONICS LLC and started a fully fledged showroom and acquired distribution rights for many major brands like Meyer Sound, Mackie, Numark, Presonus, Klark Teknik, Arbitor Audix, JTS, Crest audio, D’Addario. We are one of the top twenty retailers for Kotz, Drawmer, Sabian, QSC, LP, Mapex, P. Audio, Cerwin Vega, LED, Clay Paky, Ortofon, Kabuki, Futurlight.

In 2004 we added the (Meyer Sound) MILO Line Array self powered flown speaker system which is highly compact but powerful and were the first to introduce it in the UAE. The state of the art technology used in the MILO systems have proven to be highly effective in handling the most demanding sonic situations.

Again, in 2004, as port of our continuing attempts to provide the best value and internationally accepted standards to our customers, we added the legendary MIDAS Heritage 3000, 60 channel analog audio mixing console as well as the MIDAS Verona 48 channel mixing console to our line-up which also includes Sound Craft Verona, Allen Heath ML 5000, GL 4000, Yamaha MA 4000 etc.

We have entered the field of fully automated and fully digital audio mixing with the addition of the Mackie TT24 which can be programmed before hand or can even have the mix settings brought in by the artistes themselves on discs thus cutting down the time needed to set up and leaving nothing to chance in achieving a perfect mix.

Sonia Electronicsalso provides a world-class range of analog and digital audio processors to complement the rest of our top-of-the-line equipment which includes Klark Teknik, XTA, BSS, Avalon, Drawmer, Lexicon, Yamaha, Ashley, Meyer, Outline, Roland and TC Electronics not to mention microphones from Shure, Samson etc.
